Frequently Asked Questions

What class levels is it for?
I designed it mainly with 3rd–6th class in mind. Because the PowerPoints are editable, you can easily change questions, wording or activities to better suit your own class.

Will you be making a version for younger classes?
As much as I would love to, the reality is that Class of Creativity is just me. I wish I had a huge team that I could delegate to, but for now I’m writing and creating everything myself.

A resource like this has taken me the guts of two weeks of daily work, so unfortunately it just isn’t feasible for me to have a separate junior version ready in time for back-to-school.

I’ve tried to make the preview as detailed as possible so you can have a really good look through it and decide whether you could edit and adapt the content for your own class. I hope you understand!

Is it editable?
Yes. The PowerPoint is completely editable, so you can change the wording, questions, activities and procedures to suit your own classroom.

Do I have to use it Monday–Friday?
No. The PowerPoints are labelled Day 1–Day 5, so it doesn’t matter what day of the week you return to school.

Can I move or delete slides?
Yes. You can move or delete slides within each day depending on your timetable and what you want to cover.

Are the printables included?
Yes. There is a matching pupil pack with the sheets needed for the written activities and challenges throughout the five days.

Is it just games and icebreakers?
No. There are plenty of games and fun team activities, but there is also a big focus on class community, oral language, routines, procedures, teamwork and setting expectations for the year ahead.

Will I need lots of preparation or materials?
No. Most activities are low prep and use basic classroom materials. Any activities that need particular materials are clearly explained.

Can I use the games again during the year?
Yes. Lots of the games, oral language activities and team challenges can be used again throughout the school year, not just during the first week.
