Christmas Hits Music Study

This pack contains everything you need to teach your students in the festive mood! It includes worksheets and fun activities and a teacher’s guide to assist you during your lessons.

Included in this pack:

Listening and Responding: using YouTube or Spotify, the children listen to some festive Christmas chart hits and answer the detective questions. Make sure you listen to the tracks before to ensure they are appropriate for your own class.

Discography: This can be used as part of a homework research task. It could also be decorated and added to a project or display.

What do you think… young students need to form opinions on what they like and don’t like about classical, traditional and popular music. This worksheet allows them to share their views on their favourite Christmas tracks.

Homework – a fun, interactive homework sheet which can be used to begin the topic or as an assessment tool.

My favourite Christmas song – lined and blank version. Perfect for a music display or assessment tool.

Art Attack – using the internet, scroll through some Christmas compilation album covers comparing and contrasting each. Use this worksheet to get the children to come up with their own Christmas Collection giving a name and track list!
